About EVOLG

EVOLG was founded in 2010 with a vision to “launch a global brand from Japan.” The name EVOLG comes from a Japanese childhood joke of reading Tebukuro (glove) backwards phonetically, resulting in “Rokubute” which means “hit me six times.” EVOLG is GLOVE spelled backwards.

Our classic knit gloves are designed, manufactured and packaged exclusively in Japan. The sewn gloves, as a result of a decline in domestic production and for cost-efficiency purposes, are manufactured in China. However, the sewn gloves with fine details or materials are manufactured in Japanese factories.

Each season, we design fun but functional products. Japanese technology creates our comfortable design which is popular with consumers worldwide. We began with one of the world’s first fashionable touchscreen gloves and now have evolved into a unique growing glove brand that produces items for fashion, the outdoors, sports or simple everyday use.

EVOLG is currently sold in cities in 13 countries worldwide including New York, London, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Belgium and Italy.

The future of EVOLG

Many manufacturers currently produce similar touchscreen gloves. However, there are may existing problems such as failure to connect with touchscreens, emitting unpleasant chemical odors or causing metal allergy. At EVOLG, we have continued to conduct fastness testing, durability testing and testing for formaldehyde since our founding through an examination laboratory.

Our leather products use a new patent-pending technology that eliminated the conductive material at the fingertip as well as the seams and stitches around the material. These gloves look just like regular leather gloves.

In addition, our patented Slide-Tec gives the fingertip the same feature as a touch pen. This allows for easy use of small app buttons and fine print input on your device.
